Concrete Staining has gained popularity over the past decade. Stained concrete brings a rustic look to modern architecture. Chemical colorants are applied artistically by skilled technicians to create an old world antique look or an ultra modern design using different colors in a hand made pattern of your choice.

Concrete surfaces treated with Stain, including commercial plazas, driveways, sidewalks, patios, garage floors, basement and all interior concrete floors and lobbies, and even walls are given a subtle shaded color with natural beauty. The color will not chip, crack or wear off like coatings because the stain penetrates and colors both the concrete surface and substrate.

The concrete can be in almost any condition and still become a candidate for staining. DiamondKote® technicians can apply stains to a new concrete floor of a severely damaged surface by overlaying the concrete with a new layer of cement that can be as thin as a credit card.

The stained surfaces are sealed with clear resinous acrylics, epoxies, and urethanes to give floors a life expectancy of over 50 years with proper maintenance.

A Concrete Overlay is a protective covering which can be a simple bonded waterproof covering or highly decorative. An overlay can protect and beautify new or damaged concrete surfaces around any residential or commercial area.

No matter what the damage is, we have done the research and field testing for repair materials and methods that are proprietary to us. Our repair procedures are thoroughly engineered, tested and proven to extend concrete’s life span of concrete beyond the averages. We can repair all types of concrete damage on any concrete surface including foundations & retaining walls, and all concrete flatwork, either interior or exterior. Our all-weather services can be performed at temperatures down to 20 degrees, making public areas safe and eliminating legal worries for property owners and property management companies. Popular repairs also include warehouse floors and damage occurring from forklift traffic. Efflorescence can be removed and treated with an invisible penetrating shield that can eliminate it from leeching through walls and floors. Concrete Moisture Barriers, a popular mold elimination process, are available for both residential and commercial concrete surfaces. Salt Damage including scaling and spalling of the concrete’s cream layer due to expanding moisture inside the concrete can be remedied with proper demolition and treatment. Eco-Friendly Sustainable Decorative Concrete Flooring

Recycle old flooring – by removing old tile or carpeting from an existing concrete floor, and polishing it rather than covering it, you will be working toward a L.E.E.D. certified project. Concrete polishing is an economical alternative to floor coverings such as carpet, VCT, and wood products. The initial installation can be as low as $4 per square foot on commercial projects with 5 times the wear ability and life expectancy. Periodic maintenance and cleaning costs of polished concrete are significantly less than traditional floor coverings, the savings are realized through the years of ownership. The look of polished concrete has a natural appeal when deep grinding reveals the sand and stone aggregate naturally found in the concrete pour. Concrete polishing is the Green choice for many flooring applications from large commercial/industrial and even small residential floors.

DiamondKote® has a variety of performance floor coatings suitable for any residential or industrial use. We have formulations that range from garage floor coatings to heavy industrial forklift or aircraft traffic. These coatings can be applied clear or they can be colored and layered with decorative quartz sand and other colored aggregates, providing an aesthetically pleasing look for any application. Our sealers can be used over any concrete surface or over our DiamondKote® decorative stamped or concrete overlay system, decorative stained floors, or metallic floors further enhancing the beauty and durability. Our coatings can be formulated for a matte or a high gloss finish, for indoors or outdoors, for light residential or heavy commercial traffic and chemical production spills, and in a wide variety of colors and metallics. Our resins include various acrylics, MMA’s, epoxies, polyaspartics and urethanes. Each has unique performance characteristics that fit any project specifications, including most extreme temperature fluctuations, abrasion resistance, bonding requirements, and chemical stain resistance.

Concrete is naturally porous (or cellular) in structure like a sponge. This allows for moisture to pass completely through the slab, making it a perfect all weather product if placed correctly. For areas that require moisture a moisture free environment, like office and living spaces, or hydro-containment vessels, we have effective treatments to create a moisture proof barrier. Barriers can be in the form of penetrating sealers, densifiers, or epoxy moisture barrier membranes. Technologies that can be used include Sodium or Lithium Silicates or Siliconates, Colloidal Silicas, Cementitious Coatings, or Epoxy Moisture Mitigating Membranes.
